💡Connection to the exchange

For a true market trading or for the aims of emulation (paper trading) the terminal has to receive the real-time exchange data. This fact requires a well-calibrated connection to the exchange.

The connection to the exchange is implemented as a direct connection using APIs created in a personal profile on the exchange.

Connection to Binance:

1. Launch app and go to Settings--> Connections.

1. In the window that opens select Binance from the list that appears (we only support Binance at the moment).

2. In the window that opens enter the name of the connection (use an easy name, specifically if you have many connections) and enter the API key received from the Binance. You can also use a proxy if necessary.

   
3. Click Apply. Once the connection is established, you will see a green button in the connected column.

💡In the case you need to edit an established connection, proceed with a double-click at the left mouse button on the connection and switch to the edit mode. This mode is only available when there is no connection.

💡By clicking on the copy icon next to the name, you can copy the connection settings and quickly create a new one.

The information about a connection is presented as follows:

Connected - shows your connection status

Name - is the name of your connection

Market type - indicates the concrete market type for this connection

Auto connect - when this option is activated, the system will automatically connect using the specified keys
