News is an essential tool for a trader when making trading decisions. In 1EX AI News, we collect financial news, process it using neural networks and show the user only unique and important news on the selected topic.
Our goal is to reduce the time a trader spends reading and analyzing news from minutes to seconds. We achieve this by the following methods:
Determining the sentence of the news. It is indicated by a circle in the upper left part of the news (green — positive news, red — negative, white — neutral)
To the right of the sentiment are the hashtags #. Hashtags are constructed in such a way that the trader can estimate only by the first line what the whole news will be about.
The header of the news. It goes on the next line and is highlighted in bold. Remains unchanged as in the source.
News summarization. Located below the header. The entire text of the news is compressed into one or two sentences about the most important.
The last line contains the time of publication of the news and a link to the source.
The main function of the news feed is to promptly inform the trader about what is happening in the market. Each incoming news is assigned to one or more sectors. You can choose the sector of the economy that is more interesting to you:
American stock market
Russian stock market
Cryptocurrencies
FOREX Currency Market
Commodity market
Each market offers a choice of a number of assets for which news will be displayed. Thus, you can choose which markets and which assets the news will be displayed on. For example, choosing from:
AAPL from the American stock market + all stocks from the Russian stock market --> will display news on AAPL shares and on all stocks from Russia in one tab.
The BTC cryptocurrency market --> will display news only on cryptocurrency and only on the BTC instrument.
All stocks from the American stock market + all stocks of the Russian stock market + all cryptocurrencies + all pairs from the FOREX currency market + all instruments from the commodity market --> will show all available news.
The settings window is the same for the news feed, screener and calendar. To select the settings of the news feed, you need to make sure that you are in the News tab.
Each market has several toggle-buttons:
Active — turns on/off the news for this market.
Enable all — enables/disables the selection of all instruments for this market. The active state of the button blocks the individual selection of instruments from the list and reflects the news on all available instruments in the news feed. The button in the off state unlocks the individual selection of instruments.
Also in the settings window there is a list of tools for which news is available. You can use the search for quick access to the desired tool.
If the Enable All button is activated, the instruments selection buttons are not available because they are all enabled. To select only certain instruments, you first need to switch the Enable All button to the inactive state.
Our filtering algorithms are not perfect. There is a chance that you may receive news that does not correspond to the selected settings
