Types of Modules

The Smart DOM terminal offers an additional Order Book analysis tool, namely, the order book modules. It allows to track the key price levels and shows the movem dynamics of order volumes.

The modules system of the terminal includes the following components:

  • ะกั… - behavioral capacity

  • ะกy - behavioral capacity

  • Aั… - behavioral activity

  • Aัƒ - title behavioral activity

  • T - transactions

  • I - intensivity

The practical application of the modules constitutes the scope of their functionality. Mainly, the modules display the dynamics of orders movements in connection with the different settings. Using this information, one can generate additional trading signals and determine price levels with great accuracy.

Each example listed below includes a specific assumption that is true with a some probabilistic advantage. It can not be 100% similarly to any generic assumption of the Technical Analysis.

An Application Example: Characterization of the overall directional advantage.

Modules in use:

  • ะกั… - behavioral capacity

  • ะกy - behavioral capacity

Overall Bid/Ask activity often indicates a potential price movement direction. For example, if the activity of order movement in these modules is greater on the Ask side, there is a possibility of a short movement provided that the market is at a "turning point".

Definition of the Levels

Modules in use:

  • Aั… - behavioral capacity

  • Aัƒ - title behavioral activity

  • I - Intensity

Levels are determined using the increased activity at a specific price level. The necessary filtering out of the false price levels is implemented using a sliding window algorithm.

The significance of the processed levels

Modules in use:

  • T - transactions

The activity module of the processed trades not only shows the intensity in the spread area, but also indicates the significance of the already worked levels (in the form of histograms).

Adding Modules

In order to add some modules in the working space one uses the button on the sidebar.
